Strengthening the delivery of health care in the Solomon Islands

The Solomon Islands Living Memorial Project is a medical and surgical education partnership between US and Australian health specialists and the doctors and nurses of the Solomon Islands in order to improve the delivery of health care in Solomon Islands.

 program supports sustainable healthcare improvements in Solomon Islands through regular continuing medical education visits. We deliver the support our peers in Solomon Islands feel they need in order to improve the delivery of health care to their own people.

SILMP also recognizes the
 shared historic bonds forged between Allied service men and the people of Solomon Islands during WWII with a modern relationship that addresses the country’s current health care needs.
